The ECO4 doesn’t provide direct monetary payments; it funds installations through grants ranging from £7,000 to over £20,000, depending on your income, property type, and existing energy solutions.
Personal Independence Payment (PIP), along with Attendance Allowance and Disability Living Allowance, do not qualify for the ECO4 scheme, a change from the previous ECO3 scheme, which included these benefits.
The boiler grant under the free boiler scheme is a grant, not a loan. You do not need to repay anything as the scheme aims to provide free upgrades without financial burden.
Being on a state pension alone does not qualify you for a free boiler under the current scheme guidelines, which prioritize other specific criteria
